An allergy patch test involves a small amount of product being applied to your body (usually behind your ear).  This is so you and your hair stylist can identify any allergies before you’re fully exposed to the product.

The test only takes a couple of minutes and is carried out here in our Newcastle salon.

Yes. If you are having any colour treatment, including highlights and balayage, you must take an allergy test at least 48 hours before your appointment.

All new clients or existing clients without an up to date allergy patch test must take a test. Similarly, if you feel you’ve become sensitised to anything - either through illness or from taking medication - must take an allergy test.

Your allergy patch test can be booked when you book your hairdressing appointment. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask our stylists.
